FAQ
For sending communications via email to participants and crews, we use a program that your email client (Outlook/Gmail/etc.) might, in some cases, classify as SPAM. Therefore, if you do not receive our emails, we recommend checking the SPAM folder; you might find our email there. If you continue to experience issues receiving communications from the staff, please write to info@raidtribe.com, and we will investigate.
Important: Email communication is effective and secure, and it is the channel the organization uses to update event participants. However, sometimes email messages may not reach their destination for various reasons. Therefore, always remember that it is your responsibility to check other event channels for updates on any news, changes, or program modifications.
At RaidTribe events, you are 100% responsible for your adventure.
The Staff will provide you with an extraordinary route to follow, information that makes a difference, unprecedented media coverage, and picturesque fellow travelers with whom you can share memorable experiences, allowing even beginners to participate in spectacular adventures. However, remember that we remain true to the concept of adventure, and during the events, you will not receive any support or assistance from the Staff.
These are not races or motorcycle rallies but self-supported adventures.
At each stage of the event, you will be free to set your own schedule and decide how to tackle and manage the changing conditions and the amazing landscapes that will unfold alongside you along the route.
Unsupported means that you will not receive help from the Staff and cannot have any support vehicles, but you are free to provide and receive support from other participants or seek assistance from anyone you choose (workshops, businesses, hotels, restaurants, etc.) to address technical issues or any other needs.
From the moment the event starts until you reach the finish line, the Staff will follow you along the entire route solely for control purposes and to document your Adventure, with photographers and videographers creating incredible content that will be shared on the event’s channels at the end.
You will also be equipped with satellite technology that can track your position at all times on the event’s live map, allowing enthusiasts worldwide, friends, and family to follow your Adventure in real time.
Now it’s up to you—there’s a whole world out there waiting to be conquered.
Twenty years ago, almost by chance, we decided to embark on long overland expeditions to extreme territories in every corner of the planet, self-taught and following a romantic idea. It was a wonderful madness that changed our lives in a radical and incredibly positive way, a madness that, having lived on our skin and learned from our mistakes, taught us every aspect of this wonderful world of Adventure Raids on two wheels.
The first lesson we learned as self-taught individuals is that things happen first in our minds and then in reality. Adventure, like everything else, follows the same rules. It requires a preparatory mental switch that tunes us into the desire to challenge ourselves and that magnificent feeling of uncertainty and epic, so distant from everyday life but typical of land-based raids. Our mission is to lead people to live in a real and fulfilling world of challenges, endless roads to gaze upon, and, above all, the magnificent side effect for which we may really do it: to feel alive again and at the helm of our lives. Embracing the spirit of adventure has incredibly powerful reflections in every aspect of our lives.
The second valuable lesson that adventure has revealed to us is that the fears that always accompany land-based adventures before departure often remain just fears that do not materialize. This does not mean that adventure should be approached lightly; on the contrary, it requires awareness and a sense of responsibility. But based on dozens of completed raids, we can tell you with enough certainty that in every corner of the planet, you will probably find someone ready to help you if you encounter problems. They will surprise you with their support and kindness.
The world out there is not just what the media depict, and people are immediately passionate about the stories of those who have the courage to face hundreds of kilometers or an entire continent on a Vespa or a 30-year-old scooter. You will see it with your own eyes, and the reason, if you think about it, is quite simple: it’s the dream that almost everyone would like to fulfill.
Finally, the last and most important lesson, lesson number three. In life, to achieve big or small dreams, one must commit and take responsibility. Our lives are full of “one day I will,” but the point is that without a concrete commitment, we will always find a thousand reasons, real or imaginary, to postpone or cancel what we hold in our hearts. And hardly, believe us, will that dream become a reality. It’s the difference between those who do and those who would like to do. This is exactly why signing up for the event will completely change things, turning your dream in the drawer into your next step forward.
Registrations for the DawnToDuskXL III open on May 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM (Italian time) and close on May 20, 2026, or once the maximum number of admitted Riders has been reached, regardless of the date.
The registration procedure will take place on the event’s official website through a quick and easy process with PayPal payment system.
To register for the DawnToDuskXL, it is necessary to:
Accept the liability waivers and the event regulations during the registration process.
Enter all required information and complete the payment of the registration fee via PayPal.
Once the registration and payment process is completed, your participation is 100% confirmed.
Registrations will remain open until May 20, 2026
– from May 4 to May 15, 2026 (Price Tier 1)
– from May 16 to May 20, 2026 (Price Tier 2)
Unless all available spots are sold out before that date. In that case, the registration page will automatically close once the quota is reached, and it will no longer be possible to join the 2026 Edition III.
⚠️ Note: The last edition sold out in just 4 days.
The organization reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to refuse a registration, providing an immediate refund of the amount paid.
The event normally lasts 3 days, but during the 2026 Edition III you’ll have the opportunity — if you’re short on time or have unavoidable work commitments — to experience the Magic of the DawnToDuskXL by taking on a shorter route of approximately 450 km, over just 2 days (Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6).
You’ll be able to join all the other Crews by reaching the intermediate starting point in Fabriano, where you can collect your Event Pack directly at the group departure, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
If you decide to start from Fabriano on the morning of Saturday, September 5, you must indicate this choice during the registration process, using the field dedicated to selecting your starting point.
At DawnToDuskXL, it is possible to register as a team with other Pilots and use the same name to form a team.
At the time of registration for the event, if you want to join as a team, you all need to fill in the ‘crew name’ field with the same name. However, please remember that registration for the event is always individual, so each participant must register separately for the event, using the same crew name. Later, when the Crews page is published on the website, all members with the same crew name will be presented as a team.
After registering for the event, you can request your starting number by sending an email to: info@raidtribe.com.
In the email, you should provide the Pilot’s name, surname, and the requested number (please indicate at least 3 numbers in order of preference).
If the requested number is still available, it will be assigned to you, and that number will be presented on the Team Page and on your DTDXL Pilot Badge. If the requested number is no longer available, one will be assigned at the discretion of the organization.
Even without your input, you will still be assigned a starting number.
NOTE: The DawnToDuskXL is not a race. If you are looking for a race, do NOT register; this event is not for you.
After registration closes, all participants will receive suggestions for accommodations near the event’s starting/finishing point.
Yes. Participants in the event will receive a list of accommodations directly on or near the route, which can be contacted independently for overnight stays. We do not have agreements with these facilities and provide the information for your convenience only. Participants will also receive useful information on how to easily book various types of accommodations using booking apps such as Booking.com, Expedia, etc
Yes, within a 2 km radius from the starting point, we will provide details on three parking areas where you can leave your car or van for the duration of the event.
All relevant information will be included in the Digital Event Guide, which will be sent to participants.
The event registration is personal, non-refundable, and valid only for the current edition.
However, it is fair, and we want to explain the reasons: unlike other adventure events, in RaidTribe, we have extremely clear standards for our events, and from the beginning, we decided to create a series of manifestations with certain quality characteristics.
These features come at a high cost.
Whether it’s the complete study of the route with the most recent cartography and numerous on-site inspections, event coverage with professionals accompanying the crews thanks to our fully equipped service vehicles, or satellite technology capable of tracking the real-time location of each participant, RaidTribe events, as of the current date, are the only non-competitive overland raids that, in addition to competitive rally events, offer and guarantee such a level of quality, media coverage, and investments.
RaidTribe events are designed and organized by people who have been participating in and organizing adventures for over 20 years in every corner of the world. Love for adventure means responsibility towards participants, extensive experience, and no improvisation.
In a micro-world like that of adventure events, this is easily verifiable, and since we are confident in what we say, we invite you to check.
Precisely because of the standards we decided to set for the events from their inception and regardless of the number of participants, we commit in advance to guarantee an unchanged level of quality that does not depend in any way on our Partners or event sponsors, incurring significant costs both at launch and subsequently, based on each participant registered for the event.
This is the reason why your registration fee, even if you decide not to use it, will be used to keep DawnToDuskXL active and increasingly well-maintained.
In case of non-participation, the event package will not be shipped.
If you are already a member of another Vespa Club, the Vespa Club Siena membership card included with the event registration will be added to your existing card. This is because the card included in the registration is valid exclusively for RaidTribe events. It is not issued by Vespa Club Italia.
Therefore, the Vespa Club Siena membership card included in the registration fee is required to take part in RaidTribe events, but it does not replace or overlap with any other Vespa Club Italia card or your own club membership.
Cancellation – If, due to force majeure events beyond the organization’s control, such as environmental and/or national or international health-related reasons, the event cannot take place safely, the event will be canceled. The amount paid at the time of registration will not be refunded but will be considered valid for the next edition.
Rescheduling – As adventure events, RaidTribe events are designed to take place under any conditions, even adverse weather conditions. However, if exceptionally unfavorable weather conditions are forecasted for the day of the event’s departure, the Staff reserves the right, at its complete discretion, to postpone the event to the next available date while keeping the paid registration fees valid.
At DawnToDuskXL, the real heritage of the event is all of you. You will embark on an exciting two-wheeled challenge that will inspire others, and for this reason, once registered, you will be the protagonists of the Crews page. The world needs lightness and positive examples.
During the event registration process, you will have the opportunity to provide us with the information we will use to create the Crews page. In particular, we will ask for:
name / surname / nationality / vehicle model / year of the vehicle / Crew name
After the closure of registrations, the page will be online with the list of all the Pilots participating in DawnToDuskXL.
It is the exclusive responsibility of the crews to possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration document and insurance. All vehicles must be properly registered and insured.
All detailed information about the event — including the starting location, schedule, and everything you need to fully enjoy the DTDXL Experience — will be provided through a comprehensive Digital Guide, sent via email to all registered Riders approximately one month before the event (for the 2026 Edition III, around early August 2026).
Any motorcycle/motorbike/scooter with a maximum engine capacity of 200 cc and a production year up to 2000.
Depending on the production year of your vehicle, you will participate in one of the 3 XL Categories:
Jurassic Glories – vehicles up to 200 cc produced before 1975
Rusty Beauties – vehicles up to 200 cc produced before 1990
Modern Fireballs – vehicles up to 200 cc produced before 2000
Participation in the DawnToDuskXL is reserved for vehicles with a maximum displacement of 200 cc and a production year within 2000, as stated in the vehicle’s registration documents. Since the event is a non-competitive adventure and not a race, the organizer is exempt from checking the participating vehicles for technical compliance with the factory documents.
It is always the exclusive responsibility of the participating Pilot to use a vehicle permitted for circulation and to be accountable for any possible checks by law enforcement, especially for non-compliant, modified, or altered vehicles that do not meet road safety criteria or other territorial restrictions.
Remember that the DawnToDuskXL is a magnificent challenge with oneself, not against others. This is not a race but a challenge, focused on fun, and it holds value when embraced correctly. If you show up at the starting line with dramatically modified vehicles, you only detract from the essence of the challenge and your enjoyment.
At DawnToDuskXL, you can participate either as individuals or as a crew consisting of two people, but only one of the two can ride. Alternating the driving of the vehicle is not allowed, so during the event registration process, you will need to provide us with the name of the rider and the name of the navigator.
The DawnToDuskXL is a non competitive Adventure event, taking place on roads that are always open to traffic. Crews are required to exercise maximum caution and respect for traffic rules. This event should be approached with a sense of responsibility and a desire for enjoyment
From Edition II onwards, the complete route track will be available to all participants directly in the Whip app and will no longer be sent via email. This means that if you decide to use Whip also for route navigation (in addition to position sharing), you won’t have to do anything else; you will find the track already loaded in the app. If, on the other hand, you decide to use the track file to upload it to a GPS device or another app of your choice, you can easily download the route file from Whip. We will send you a tutorial that will explain in 1 minute how to do it.
Things done well require an enormous amount of time.
Preparing a quality track by selecting only the best routes and roads suitable for motorcycles, with continuous on-site inspections, is a commitment and a huge task that we are willing to undertake only for our participating Pilots.
We remind you that the track of the event is STRICTLY RESERVED for participants only. The dissemination or sharing on the internet, for any reason and on any platform, is NOT ALLOWED.
The route files you will face in our events, whether available through the app or via GPX files sent directly to participants, always have a unique code. This means that in the unfortunate event of finding our track available to NON-participants, we will always be able to identify with certainty who has disseminated the track, reserving the right to permanently exclude the participant from our events.
At DawnToDuskXL, safety comes first. The route is provided by the organization and is the same for all crews, with a dual purpose:
– To allow maximum sharing among participants of this unique and unrepeatable experience, having everyone follow the same route and thus increasing the possibilities of sharing and mutual support among participants.
– To discover some of the most enchanting roads and corners of Central Italy that we have mapped out, minimizing the risks associated with traveling on roads unsuitable for small-displacement vehicles.
Through on-site inspections and cartographic research, we have prioritized scenic and secondary roads to avoid heavy traffic and conditions incompatible with scooters.
However, despite all our attention and thoroughness, we cannot predict in any way the conditions you will encounter on the road at the time of the event. Therefore, here are some rules for interpreting the track provided:
At any time and for any reason related to your safety, traffic and road conditions, including roadworks, detours, and any other unforeseen situation you may encounter along the track we provided, you are free, at your discretion, to leave the track and resume it as soon as the conditions encountered have ceased, and your safety is guaranteed again.
You can deviate from the track at any time and then resume it as soon as possible later, using alternative roads at your discretion, if conditions require it.
The .gpx file we send via email to the pilots and which is also already loaded on the WHIP app is the result of dozens and dozens of hours of work spent on maps and physically on the terrain. The goal is to choose only the most beautiful and suitable roads for small displacement vehicles.
The route provided by the organization is one of the values that distinguish RaidTribe events.
Receiving a carefully studied route is completely different from independently entering a location into any navigator. If you ask a navigator to take you to a specific place, it decides the route, not you.
Navigators do not consider the purpose of your trip or whether a scenic route is preferable to the shortest one. They do not take into account traffic flows and, in general, trust me, a million other things. In essence, when you tell the navigator “take me there,” you put yourself in its hands without knowing the details of the road you will be asked to take.
In RaidTribe events, the goal is Fun, and this means not only covering the distance between the event’s starting point and its arrival but doing so in the most spectacular and satisfying way possible, using only the most beautiful and less congested roads, chosen by our staff through numerous inspections on the terrain and cartographic research.
This is exactly why we don’t just tell you to go from A to B (for this, a simple navigator would be enough) as happens in many land adventures where, citing the excuse of total autonomy, the staff does not take on the task of tracing the best possible route. Instead, we provide you with a file that you can follow, turn after turn, until the completion of the challenge. It will be enough to follow our route through the WHIP app, or, at your choice, load the file onto your GPS or Google Maps, but with a road chosen and traced by people who have been dealing with adventure for over 20 years, not by an algorithm.
During the DawnToDuskXL:
- You will broadcast your live position on the event’s live map (https://raidtribe.com/live-dawntoduskxl-raidtribe/ – activated a few hours before the event), followed by friends, family, and thousands of enthusiasts from home.
- You will follow the fabulous route provided by the organization.
To BROADCAST your position:
About a week before the event, the satellite service provider WHIP will send you an activation link via email (to the email you provided during event registration/the email will come directly from Whip and not from RaidTribe/check your spam folder!) as an accredited Pilot, and following the instructions provided, you will activate your profile on the app.
Once you’ve created your profile on the app using the activation link, you will find the “DawnToDuskXL” event. Register for the event on the app, and from the moment the event starts, from 6:43 am on Saturday, September 7, 2024, your phone, without you having to do anything else, will automatically broadcast your position to the live map. The tracking costs are entirely covered by the organization.
To FOLLOW THE PROVIDED ROUTE, you have 3 alternatives, at your complete discretion:
FOLLOW THE ROUTE WITH A GPS
The GPS is the ideal tool when it comes to Adventure, and it’s what we recommend using for the DawnToDuskXL. If you want to fully experience the navigation without depending on the 4G network or excessive battery consumption, not to mention the robustness of the GPS compared to the smartphone, equip yourself with a Mapping GPS. With the GPS, you can load the route file directly onto the device and have it always available.
Advantages of GPS:
– Does not use the cellular network and data but always connects directly to the satellites, so you will always have the route available even in the absence of a signal.
– It is a weather-resistant device. Unlike smartphones, it is generally designed to withstand water, wind, dust, and shocks.
– It has much lower energy consumption compared to a smartphone because the GPS essentially does only one thing, while the smartphone often uses dozens of apps simultaneously, limiting battery life.
To load the event route onto the GPS, you simply need to connect the GPS to the computer where you downloaded the route file (GPX file). On the desktop, the GPS folder will appear, and once you’ve identified the folder of the files inside, you just need to drag the GPX file into the device’s folder. Upon restarting the GPS device, you should see the track we sent you, and at that point, it will be sufficient to select it and follow the route on the map, with navigation that closely resembles traditional road navigators.
FOLLOW THE ROUTE WITH THE WHIP APP
The same satellite app that you will need to install on your phone to broadcast your position live can also be used as a navigator, with convenient voice instructions that will allow you to enjoy the route more freely, without checking your phone screen too often. To use WHIP as a navigator, you will need to activate the PLUS profile.
The PLUS profile is a paid subscription but includes a 14-day free trial (it can only be activated once for free, so if you have already activated it in the past, know that by activating the PLUS profile again, you will be charged immediately. However, you can select the 1-month subscription for only 6 euros, and then cancel without further charges) so you can activate it without any charge and then, at the end of the event, immediately deactivate it, so as not to incur any costs. Cancelling the PLUS profile takes 30 seconds.
Once the PLUS profile is activated, you don’t have to do anything else; you will find the event route already loaded on the app, ready to be followed.
FOLLOW THE ROUTE WITH GOOGLE MAPS
If you have chosen to follow the route using Google Maps, you will need to load the track (file .gpx) not on the phone but by creating a new map starting from MyMaps. Don’t panic, here’s how to do it below.
Access your Google account (from a computer desktop) and then go to MyMaps:
https://www.google.com/intl/it/maps/about/mymaps/
Click on “Create a new Map”
In the next page, choose “IMPORT”:
Select the gpx file sent by the organization and drag it (or add it from the folder where the file is located) into the following screen:
Once Google Maps has processed the file, you will see the map with the entire route at your disposal (blue line):
The advantage of visualizing the route provided by the organization by creating your map, rather than just following it from Google Maps, is that you can add notes, comments, and route markers at certain points on the map.
For example, once you have received the event route, you may discover that there is a restaurant along the track that you don’t want to miss. In this case, you can use the tools that Google provides to insert a flag at a specific point on the route, which will remind you, once you arrive, to stop.
Use the tool menu:
and select the black flag to insert the waypoints you want into the route:
This way, you have the opportunity to insert useful (or tasty) points along the route, such as places to sleep or assistance points.
Once you have created the map, name it as you prefer and save it:
From now on, you will always find it available on your Google Drive (an app to download for free on your phone), and you can view and follow it whenever you want, simply by clicking on it, with the automatic opening of the Google Maps app (also installed on your phone).
Now all that’s left is to have fun on the most beautiful roads we have chosen for you. If you’re wondering how to position the smartphone on the vehicle so that you can easily read the route, you can find the answer in point 27 of the FAQs.
The DawnToDuskXL has been designed — like all RaidTribe events — to let you enjoy the company of amazing travel companions, the enchanting landscapes along the route, and the sublime flavors of Central Italy.
To ensure that you can experience all of this while maintaining maximum safety on the road, and without having to spend the entire day in the saddle, the route has been divided into three stages, which each Rider must follow.
The arrival point in Florence, where participants will be welcomed by the event staff, will be open from 6:00 PM to 7:44 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
If you complete the route before 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2026, you will need to wait for the official opening of the finish area to be registered as a Finisher.
And remember: this is not a race — if you rush, you’ll miss the most beautiful part of the experience.
The DawnToDuskXL is designed to let you experience the Adventure with complete peace of mind. If your vehicle breaks down along the route, at any point, the organizers will recover the vehicle and bring it back to the arrival point in Florence on Sunday, September 6.
This service is not included in the registration fee, but the organization will cover 80% of the cost, so participants who request it will only need to pay a small contribution of €25 euros, regardless of the kilometers covered by the recovery vehicle.
How do I use the service during the event?
The service must be booked in advance. After registration, all participants will be asked if they want to use the service. If you opt-in, you will need to pay a fee of €25 euros. Once you’ve signed up for the service, you can relax and enjoy this Incredible Adventure, knowing that if your vehicle breaks down during the event, we will handle bringing it back to Florence.
It is not possible to use the service during the event without booking and payment.
If you prefer to have your vehicle delivered directly to your home anywhere in Italy (in the case of a breakdown) instead of to the arrival point in Florence, we can provide a quote, and you can indicate your preference. Simple.
Riders may cover each stage of the route only during daylight hours, that is, from sunrise to sunset on each day of the event, as follows:
Friday, September 4, 2026 – Valid Time: from 06:39 AM (event start) to 07:48 PM
Saturday, September 5, 2026 – Valid Time: from 06:40 AM to 07:46 PM
Sunday, September 6, 2026 – Valid Time: from 06:42 AM to 07:44 PM (event finish)
Riders who, according to the event’s Live Map, are found to be moving before sunrise or after sunset, regardless of whether they have completed all or part of the planned stages, will not be awarded the “Finisher XL” qualification.
Regardless of the tool you choose to follow the route on your screen, you will need to mount your GPS/smartphone on the handlebars of your Vespa / motorcycle / moped.
There are mounts of various types available in the market that can help you travel conveniently and safely, allowing you to easily read the route. One of the most effective mounts is undoubtedly the one on the rearview mirror.
You can find different types of mounts by simply searching on Google for ‘motorcycle GPS mounts‘ or ‘motorcycle smartphone mounts‘
The distribution of starting numbers and event packs will take place from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM directly at the official starting location in Florence, at:

WARNING: The app you will use during DawnToDuskXL to navigate along the route and transmit your position live on the map requires more battery usage from your phone than usual.
Depending on the model and whether your phone is new or not, the battery life of your cell phone with the app active during the event could last from 2.5 hours to 7.5 hours. Therefore, remember to equip yourself with portable power banks or alternative energy sources on your vehicle.
Power banks are very affordable today and provide those who use the phone for navigation with sufficient autonomy to enjoy an event like DawnToDuskXL to the fullest.
TIP: Show up at the event’s starting point only after conducting navigation and battery life tests. Technical assistance is not provided on the day of the event.
The Live Tracking system during the event and the updating of each crew’s position on the LIVEMAP are provided free of charge by the organization to every crew for the entire duration of the event. It is mandatory for crews to continuously transmit their position.
On the day before the event’s start, the LIVE page will be activated on the event’s website (https://raidtribe.com/en/live-dawntoduskxl-raidtribe/). From the moment of departure and through an interactive map, it will be possible to follow the crews from the first meter to the last, for each day of the event, with the option to view the live position.
This way, enthusiasts and friends from around the world can follow the event and the position of each team at any time.
In RaidTribe events, safety and the live transmission of each pilot’s position are of fundamental importance. For this reason, in every event you participate in, there are two aspects that enhance both safety and the sharing of unique and unforgettable experiences.
NAVIGATION. At DawnToDuskXL, the route is provided and made navigable for participating pilots through a GPX file to be loaded onto a GPS device or Google Maps, or at the participant’s discretion, through the WHIP satellite app to be downloaded on a smartphone. To follow the route, it is sufficient to have any smartphone with a data plan that allows internet access.
LIVE TRACKING. Live Tracking refers to the real-time transmission of your position throughout the event on the map activated on the RaidTribe website. This feature allows friends, family, and adventure enthusiasts worldwide to follow your adventure.
At DawnToDuskXL, you can use WHIP, the satellite app necessary for live position tracking, for both navigation and following the route. Therefore, it’s a single tool to accomplish everything with maximum simplicity.
Every participating vehicle must have a perfectly functioning lighting system, and the pilot must possess a reflective jacket, helmet, and all safety devices required by law.
The DawnToDuskXL involves the physical presence of the staff on the field, using vehicles accompanying the crews throughout the event. We have service cars and a team of 12 staff members ready to narrate your adventure.
However, please understand that we cannot guarantee that all pilots will be present in the photos and videos of the event. Some may be more prominently featured, while others, unfortunately, may be less visible due to logistical reasons and the large number of participants. All your stories are incredible to us, and we will do our best to share them through interviews, videos, and carefully crafted contributions of the highest quality.
That being said, if your decision to participate in the event depends on the certainty of being present in the videos and/or photos, do not register. Due to the reasons mentioned above, we cannot ensure the same coverage for everyone.
Also, remember that the experience of DawnToDuskXL will remain unique regardless of whether you are captured in the event’s videos or photos. These media, while beautiful, are just the backdrop to an adventure capable of taking you away from the anxieties, problems, and frustrations typical of modern life for three days.
Approach the event with serenity and enjoyment, with the sole purpose of taking a fun break from your daily life. We guarantee that you will treasure an experience that will bring a smile back to your entire world.
The film of the edition and photos of the participants taken by the staff will be released at the end of the event on the dedicated edition page on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and the RaidTribe YouTube channel.
The FAQ page is constantly evolving and is the main resource to find the answers you are looking for. However, if you have questions that are not addressed on this page, we invite you to use the Live Chat on the website or send an email to: info@raidtribe.com
The Staff will respond as soon as possible.
To avoid the risk of losing your messages and to have a single communication channel, please always use the email info@raidtribe.com.
We do not respond to messages on Messenger or other platforms.
Adventure will save the world!
RaidTribe events were born with a specific purpose: to make people’s lives better and happier by allowing them to share legendary and fun motorcycle and Vespa journeys with hundreds of other adventure enthusiasts on the road. All united in search of strong emotions and against the grayness that now accompanies the modern world and unfortunately many of our lives.
It’s time to change course and take back control, as the author of the book “Titanic. A different ending” wrote.
Making your life better means enjoying and making the most of experiences that for most people happen only a few times in life. For this reason, everything related to events should be experienced and interpreted by those who intend to participate with positive emotion, enthusiasm, courtesy towards others and towards the Staff, as well as an awareness of being able to live something extraordinary capable of shaking one’s life incredibly powerfully, and positively.
So please, always remember that the purpose of participating in RaidTribe events is to have extraordinary experiences that will make you happy and that you can tell with contagious enthusiasm to your descendants. Even though we understand that preparation can bring with it a certain amount of apprehension, approach events in every aspect with happiness and joy of being there, after all… you are here for this.
Adventure will save the world!
Participating in RaidTribe events means giving oneself and one’s life a gift of unique value, provided you are aware and conscious of taking part in a Overland Raid in complete autonomy.
Adventure, by its very nature and definition, requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to read conditions on the field. Despite the meticulous care and scrupulousness we put into preparing our events, it is materially impossible to predict the actual conditions you will encounter on the field from the moment of departure. For this reason, you always have the responsibility to carefully review the route sent to you.
We choose the best roads in Europe, but it is easily understandable that, for various unpredictable reasons, the conditions on the field may be different: detours, roadworks, closures of other communication routes, and diverted traffic flows.
Therefore, in the presence of unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances that you may encounter on the field, at RaidTribe events, you are always free to deviate from the track, at your complete discretion, and resume it as soon as safety conditions are restored.
Approach this adventure responsibly, and the fun will be guaranteed.
Preparing an adventure independently, from A to Z, requires months of time and careful filtering of the sources from which information is gathered. From navigation to technical aspects, from equipment to logistics, there are many things to plan.
However, aware that not everyone has the time and skills required to plan adventures of this kind and wanting to introduce as many people as possible to the world of Vespa and small displacement raids, we have designed a series of adventures with a fixed and carefully planned route, accompanied by fundamental information that is the result of our twenty years of experience in over 100 countries worldwide. Having a predetermined route saves you months of study and planning. But in addition to the route, and perhaps even more fundamental, participating crews will be provided with practical information of all kinds that, otherwise, in the case of self-planned adventures, you would have had to gather and filter from hundreds of sources.
Logistical information, recommendations on the equipment needed to face the challenge, how to follow the track with GPS or smartphone. Likewise, for the Nordkapp Classic Raid, information on available services along the track, the roadmap, workshops, repair centers, Vespa Clubs. Up to the vehicle recovery service and connections to return home by plane. With over 20 years of experience in the world of Adventure, our events allow everyone to experience extraordinary adventures that change people’s lives.
RaidTribe Adventures take place on the safest and most serviced continent in the world, Europe. For this reason, you will presumably always be able to receive assistance within a few kilometers to solve any unforeseen events and changes in plans that may arise along the way, elements that have always been at the core of the concept of Adventure itself.
